Completed Projects (High School)
COMPOUND MACHINES PROJECT:
This is a project where we built different types of machines on the same platform to demonstrate how these machines work interdependently
VEX ROBOTICS FERRIS WHEEL PROJECT:
For this project, we created a Ferris wheel which will be intended to be started when a button is pressed and a song will also be played simultaneously. We also for the first time, coded the whole project in the PLTW natural language which is required because without programming, the robot wouldn’t understand human language. Robots only understands 0’s and 1’s so it would be helpful to write it down in a programming language so that the compiler would compile the code for the robot and then he would be able to understand what are his commands.
Hydraulics Project:
For this Project, our goals would be to create a hydraulic powered system which can move a small wooden block, the size of an eraser 12 inches across and 6 inches up. We need to make sure that every operation and function of the machine is done via the concept of hydraulics and pneumatic systems. It can’t be done with the presence of human intervention.
SOLAR CAR PROJECT:
This a Project where we built a car powered by solar and via hydrogen fuel cell engine.
VEX ROBOTICS FINISH LINE PROJECT:
This is similar to the first project where we need to code our designs but, in this case, it’s based on a completely different problem and needs a completely different code.
MARBLE SORTER PROJECT:
For this project, the way we have achieved the goals are the same compared to other vex robotics project (which is by building structures from vex robotics as well as PLTW parts). But what is different is the actual goals as its more complicated than the other 2 project. This is because the objective of this project would be to classify and sort 4 different types of marbles under 30 seconds compared to the other 2 project where time was not a problem and only the working ability is something that was taken care of.
Upcoming/In-progress Projects
Motorized wooden cart project:
This is a project where i am gonna be designing a Wooden wagon model of a car power by fuel efficient means. This model is gonna be designed in cad Software and gonna be using gears from vex assembly. Also, the axles would fit to an custom axle assembly and it will be simulated in auto desk inventor to maintain optimum performance.
Nintendo Emulator Project:
This is a Project where I will create an custom based cased for a salvaged laptop main board, which will be used to play very old games. This will give a new life to these almost broken computer as well as an retro nostalgic experience for those who are familiar with what i am talking about.
